Guess you
might have been wondering what De Val '16 is all about
It's that
time of the year when we express our love to everyone around us, especially the
less privileged, to celebrate the St. Valentine's Day.
This year
will make the 3rd anniversary of this incredible act of ours and we want you to
willingly play a role in putting a loving smile on someone's face out there
who's not your spouse or friend.
The
motivation behind this idea was the fact that "to whom much is given, much
is expected..." Although, we didn't have much in terms of finances, we
knew that we've been blessed and that we can radiate the effect of such a
blessing to those who don't have the same privilege.
We stepped
out in 2014, visited 2 Hospices in Lagos (Surulere and Akoka) inspite of what
the cynics said to deter our
move.
In 2015, we
extended the Love to Badagry and Festac area, and the smile on the faces of
these wonderful creatures made us want to do more.
And now
2016, our motivation still remain - "All men are created equal, and are
endowed with certain unalienable rights to be LOVED and CARED for.
It's just a
month away, Feb 13th and you can be part of this with your LITTLE donation and
contribution.
Thanks
Come
Saturday 13th February, let's spread the spread the love around, remember
"NOT HE WHO HAS MUCH IS RICH, BUT HE WHO GIVES MUCH"
