Recently, the world’s phone giant, Nokia, lost out to competitors such as Samsung and Apple in the Telecommunications Industry simply because they failed to keep pace with CHANGE. This catastrophically led to the sale of the company to Microsoft.

The Nigerian situation may be headed in the same direction if we refuse to endure or make the sacrifice that accomplice a change. Nokia missed out on learning; they missed out on changing, and thus they

How do you define success? This simple question is pivotal to your joy, peace and probably your length of life. You may agree with me that the word “success” is an ambiguous word i.e. may have many meanings.

This is why some people, who may have certain things that others don’t have may not necessarily see themselves as successful.  A few questions may arise when this deep word is mentioned.

Questions such as:

·         What things should a man possess to be seen as successful?

TOPIC 24: HUMILITY IS NOT STUPIDITY; PRIDE IS FRAGILITY

Humility cost us nothing, but earns us an undefinable respect. Most people ignorantly take humility for stupidity. Some people take them for fool. Some people say they are weak, sluggish and naive. Let me hint you today, the most humble people in the society are most times the smartest people. Humility is simply wisdom.

Have you ever wondered what it means to be humble? What it takes to be humble? Or is it even necessary to be humble? Humility is the quality of not thinking that you are better than other people. Humility goes beyond greeting people or running errands for them. Humility comes from your heart and not just how to behave around people. You can choose to obey orders or show respect to others, not because you want to, but because you might get scolded, which is not meant to be.

Money, Fame, Beauty, Position, Age or whatever you've been privileged to have shouldn't make you to look down on others. Life is full of diversity; we cannot always have exactly the same thing in life. Because someone is not as good as you are in what you do doesn't mean they can't be better than you in something else. No matter how proud a peacock is because of its feathers
