PROVE THEM WRONG; DON’T LIVE PEOPLE’S OPINION ABOUT YOU (episode 2)
My friend, turn a deaf ear to
people’s opinion about you (only when you know you are doing the right thing;
not the justifiable thing). Some of them are obstacles and some are frictions
and some are inhibitors to say; but regardless of who or what they are, none is
to be reckoned with.

Their advices to you always come
in a negative manner. They are silenced when it appears vividly to them that
you are too determined to give up. Thus they are quick to surface to discourage
you when you show sign of weariness. They are always quick to remind you that
nobody has done successfully what you intend doing. Some will even tell you “well,
that is how life is, so accept your fate”.
Listen friend, I’ve got this
piece of advice for you. The first thing you have got to know is that do
everything within you to prove them wrong, or aspire to prove them wrong always.
That is always the best answer/response to them, since you can’t fight them. The
greatest mistake a man can ever do is to live or bend his life with what people
gossip around about you. In as much as what you embark on doing is the right
thing, you have got no reason to quit on it. Is hope alive?
One better way of proving them
wrong is to rather turn their bad advice into an intrinsic impetus and catalyst
for your progress. Always be zealotry in “proving someone wrong”. Get your
chance to prove to them that they are not your Maker and Creator. Their opinion has no power and audacity to
reshape your life.
Do not quit because they say you
cannot do it. Do not give up because they remind you of your past and your
background. Do not quit because they said nobody has done it successfully in
your family. Even Jesus was reminded; “can anything good come out of Nazareth?”.
But do it because you want to break the jinx, because nothing can stop you if
you would belief, and because you have got one “NUT” to prove wrong.
